Texas State has a student-run sustainable farm, mainly used for agricultural research purposes. H.E.A.T. was able to spend a day with these researchers planting carrot seeds and learning about sustainable agriculture. Even though it was cold and rainy, we had a blast planting carrot seeds, harvesting carrots, and snacking on them too!
