Kendalia Wildlife Rescue & Rehabilitation

For the past two semesters H.E.A.T. has participated in volunteering with the Kendalia Wildlife Rescue & Rehabilitation center. With so many animals that need to be cared for and with a lot of work that has to be done on the daily, H.E.A.T. has helped get as much work as a team as they could. From cutting fruit to feed the animals to driving around in a truck picking up cement blocks to build a birdhouse, there is always something to do at Kendalia. While a lot of people would rather sleep in on a Saturday and take a day off, H.E.A.T. members choose to wake up at 8:00 AM and get to work helping animals enjoy their living conditions and even getting attached to a few of them!
